OH!
Ohio State has won the toss!
Brent questioning with a "couple of blades"... I bet he's wearing a Meatchicken t-shirt under his shirt. He seems quite biased.
Are you trying to convince everyone else on this thread that these teams aren't deserving of their rankings or trying to convince yourself?
I'm not trying to convince anyone (since I don't think there are any poll voters here), but I expected that both these teams would play tough, well executed games. Instead both teams have made numerous mistakes, missed tackles, missed coverages, poor special teams play, bad decisions. Compared to the USC teams of the last few years and Texas last year it seems to me that the quality is a big drop off.
Not to worry...Michigan still sucks, and OSU wins again....No. 1, un-defeated.
I don't know what to think about missed tackles. It's hard for me to tell when it's poor tackling or good hard running that breaks tackles. But there have been some blown coverages and I also wasn't expecting that.
I have sort of been hoping USC gets to play the winner here cuz I am a Pac-10 alum, but Florida would also be deserving.
Lincoln and Immoral?
I'd say the Michigan defense in this game speaks for itself.
Ohio State's defense was nothing to write home about.
Good point. If they're proud of that effort, something's wrong with them.
Great game. OSU gets to play for the national title. They deserve it.
But both would have looked better if this was a 21-20 game.
That was like two heavyweights beating the living crap out of each other but I think that score was closer than the actual score. Stupid turnovers just about did them in.
Lloyd Carr looked like John Kerry out there but that Henne kid is very impressive.
Michigan has the "best" loss of all the one-loss teams. Losing by 3 on the road against the number 1 team in the nation. USC lost to an unranked team, ND was crushed by Michigan at home, Arkansas lost by 36(!) at home, Florida lost by 10 to Auburn. Rutgers...please, they couldn't stay within 3 touchdowns of OSU. Michigan deserves a rematch...I may be biased, but the facts are on my side.
Just goes to show that environmentalist whackos don't know anything about college football!
Troy Smith is a fifth year senior, and just graduated, so he won't be playing against Michigan any more. However, I think Boeckman will try his best to fill Troy's shoes.
105,000 CHEERING FANS see the Number ONE team knock off yet another Number TWO.
GREAT game. Some uncharacteristic errors by the Buckeyes, a few really bad calls, but well played on both sides and honorable!
The MICHIGAN team and coach are a class act............unlike some of their 'fans' on this forum.......(that would be YOU, meandog).
GO BUCKEYES!! NUMBER ONE!!!!
Michigan is still #2 in the BCS.
Thanks, se_ohio. That's the first I've heard the new rankings.
I tend to agree with the BCS. USC's win wasn't as impressive as Michigan's narrow loss.
The OSU fans unpacked the refs along with their tailgate supplies...despite that fact Big Blue made it close...I wanna rematch!
