How can this be? Gasoline over $2/gal is a clear sign that we are nearly out of oil. </s>

Wanna bet the leftist media plays this as "3x the CO2 over the next 100 years: global warming will be worse than currently predicted."

CNBC is discussing live the new report that there seems to be three times more oil on Earth than previously thought.

Someone should tap the shoulders of the oil speculators: On reports that OPEC nations are not following production cuts, that vast new oil discoveries will soon go online, that US inventory is much greater than believed, that the winter forecast is above average for the Northeast, that Dems will institute new CAFE standards on SUVs, trucks, and cars within two years, etc. the speculated price of crude futures contracts has risen today after some early slumping.
Guess Soros is cashing in the rest of his chips before the free fall of the oil market. Uh oh...better buy gold.

They'll parlay this to benefit the dems in the next election. I don't know how; but they waited until after this one to announce it.

A timely article IMHO since the feds have cleared the way for shale oil extraction in Colorado. Guess the Dems are lining up the propaganda in order to shut down shale oil production by the evil oil companies so all our women can eventually wear berkas?

Oh good, now we can put off finding alternative energy sources for another 50 years or so. Or we could drill in Ted Kennedy's belly...at least we would find plenty of ethanol...and methane.
