Maybe I'm getting my days mixed up, but it seems Ms. Kim could have done a lot of explaining, and was never fully questioned or investigated.

I think there was plenty of time and opportunity for her to have delivered that money to the pimp between the events. Remember she showed up at her drivers place about 3 hours before the party. She must have been someplace else before showing up there. I don't think the escort services let the workers have a whole lot of time to keep the money in their possession. In a cash business, there would be to many opportunities for it to be spent on other stuff. I do believe that some or all of her $400 was missing. I do not think the lacrosse players ended up with it.

My question is, if she said she was missing $2000, why was that statement not believed? Why didn't it result in charges against someone?

She likely did lose her drugs somewhere. Either to Kimmy or at the house. She had to go to UNC the next day to get more.
