It is to You, O Lord, that we return, praising You with our lips and praying for hearts that match, for heavy is the day because of the night. We have prayed, O Lord, and You have answered. May it be, Merciful Father, that You would direct us in the way that we now should go, for we are continually burdened for the safety of our beloved defenders and the Iraqi nation, for our sweet country and our people, for righteous rule and a return to Your precepts.

We continue to pray that You will raise up men and women who will stand in the gap for those things You teach and we hold dear .. that conservative talents lost in an election will not be lost to the country. Thank You, O God, for those areas in which the people are holding back the tide of immorality and illegality ... may we prosper. Let the hearts and ears of our nation ring with the cries of the unborn ... may life yet prevail. Take from us all manner and methods that hinder Your message ... strengthen us for the days ahead. May the Holy Spirit move across this nation as a refreshing breeze, that we feel the sweetness of Your breath upon our face.

And may it be, Heavenly Father, that You would under gird Your children and all men and women of good will ... grant unto us hearts on fire for You and spines of steel and fierce determination, to speak and to act quickly and surely, for we fear for our beloved country. We continue to pray for those in authority over us, that they would seek what is good and right. Protect our beloved President and his family and his Administration, that they might continue to be effective in their duties, without injury or harm.

Bless all who have prayed here, O Lord. Thank You that You forget not one word, that You have seen every tear, that You have felt every ache. Thank You that You are Sovereign God. Amen ...

Amen and AMEN, Pegita!

You have spoken the words of my heart! May God have mercy on us, and may we be repentant and humble, and receptive to the lessons He is teaching us in this dark hour.
