nice try on spinning - whatever makes you feel better.

I think this guy is a complete hypocrite, and the fact that a gay prostitute selling meth ruled the day for this religious leader and he's admitting to "some" of it makes me once again know I can trust my own instincts.

I go to his church (New Life), and I was fooled and yes he is a hypocrite. He can sit next to me in the pew with the drunks, cheats, drug addicted, perverts, liars, adulterers, murders and any other sinner who needs grace. I don't think Mr. Silverback's comment was spin, it's what we believe.

I do know that makes us foolish in a lot of people's eyes, but I do not put my faith and trust in men. I agree with you, a spade is a spade and you are right.

A society where we presume people innocent until they are proven guilty does make me feel better, thank you very much. And surely, the Founders weren't spinning anything when they adopted that concept. I sure wouldn't want to be tried by a jury using your standard of guilt.

Instinct is great and often the gut knows best, but I wonder what you'd be saying if it had turned out that (gasp!) a meth-dealing prostitute was not telling the press the truth.
