Memories worth saving are of my friends and family, and anything related to them. My standards must be quite different in terms of priorities than yours.

No superiority claim was made at all....but an inferiority complex in your post seems consistent with those who try to claim some type of team-spirit-associated "pride" as causing a "better than you" attitude due to a lack of personal value/achievment. Sad.

If having a local sports team that is successful in its business makes the local populace better than some other teams' populace, well, that's sad to be the only claim to fame of "fans"......

I guess if one is not a self-proclaimed sports fan, then they have no value in your world.
