I've always wondered about your screen name until my recent trip to Britain. What a great tasting soda. I checked the supermarkets in my part of the country (western Wisconsin) to see if they sell the stuff. Unfortunately they don't. My Norwich raised wife brought back a ton of Sainsbury's tea with us, but no Vimto. Alas.

Hi! Glad you liked it. A past conservative leader once described something (cannot remember what) as 'Vimto British'! A taste of Britain and a taste of the 1950's and 60's before Coke and all that jazz.

Vimto went out of fashion during the 70's 80's 90's but is now gaining ground once more. Yet I still cannot get it where I live in Wales! I understand that they are presently trying to break into the American market.

Glad you married a British lass! Have you come across the mythical Radio Norwich? Very funny, worth a look.
