We used to toss cans of WD-40 into the campfire. They make a nice mushroom cloud fireball when they go off.

cans of OFF work better. nice little explosion AND it gets rid of nearby bugs.

Not any more, they took the propane out and started using
CO2 for propellant. Too many folks were using WD40 for spudguns.

I saw a guy toss a can of white spray paint into a fire once. When it went off, a pickup truck parked near the fire got a pretty good coating of white paint droplets all over the outer bed on the driver's side (the truck was not white, BTW). The paint-tosser got a pretty good ass kicking for that.
