I don't know what Duke's problem is when it comes to football. I can't remember them ever being comparable to the basketball, soccer or any other athletic program for that matter.

One game suspension. Against Duke. Big deal. (almost was LOL.) I'm certainly no fan of Donna Shalala. She's as fake as a $3 bill. I do wish Broadhead had adopted an attitude that at least matched the statement she made. The things that were said were the types of things he should have said.

I don't understand it either. They have fine field hockey, tennis, soccer, LAX, basketball and others. Lots of mens' and womens' teams that are nationally ranked. For some reason, football just can't get there.
I also agree with you over the Miami suspension. What a joke! You are correct: Brodhead should have said what Shalala (gag!) said and more!
