In writing there is a trade-off between precision and clarity. The more detail you get into the less clear the point you are trying to make. I am sure it is similar in broadcasting. The segments were clear, well done even if they missed a point here or there that might have been made. Plus they had new ground to break.

Right on. They put it out there straight up and no frills. The sound bites were short and to the point. Unless you're of the mind of the prosecutor, you can't help but see that this was a complete miscarriage of justice (no, not a mistake or a bungled investigation), but OUT AND OUT MALICIOUS PROSECUTION.
