Pretty good article. The author seems to grasp the big picture well and understands that this was not helpful to blacks at all and race relations in general. He's got a nice, succinct writing style, too. He's a little weak on the obvious lack of guilt part made obvious by 60M, though, and that was a large focus of the program.

Read it, too. Agree with Jezebelle as to style, but I think the writer misses the part about the lack of investigation and the hijacking of the investigation. Seems he's a little shy about putting the blame squarely where it belongs. It's still all about racial problems and women's rights and his fear that real rapists will walk. The line about white rapists "waltzing" also struck me. Didn't I read that White on Black rapes are extremely rare? That when they are tracked it takes in all "Caucasians" like Hispanic gang-type rapes as well?
