(CBS) The three Duke lacrosse players indicted for a rape they say they didn't commit are indignant over the effect the charges are having on their lives and their families.

Do you really think so? Do you think liberals need to be taught that it is wrong to ostracize or hold accountable poor, under privileged victims from the inner city who commit assault on national TV, while on the other hand, when rich white over-privileged students are are brought up on flimsy charges by a poor, oppressed street whore from a minority race-- you automatically flush those over privileged, rascist bastards straight down the toilet.
Do liberals need to be taught such a thing, or do they just inherently behave in such fashion? If two U of Miami Frat houses engaged in a brawl involving deadly weapons, there would be no suspensions from school and no loss of scholarships? Gimme a break.
I wonder if she inquires about how her chosen profession is going since she has apparently continued it after the horrible assault. Maybe she catches up with her at the Platinum Club twice a week to check on her.

Well, there is really nothing left to sort out. Players at Miami were caught on tape clearing the bench, stomping on people and whacking them with football helmets. The "punishment" Shalala refers to is a one game suspension for most of the participants--ironically, the game is against Duke.
I thought the only thing missing from Shalala's statement was "And those FIU mo-fo's best not be disrespectin' our house."
That's why the suspension is only one game, because Georgia Tech is after Duke.

I know I am straying far off subject, but the U of Miami/FIU footbrawl occurred at the Orange Bowl where the Miami P.D. had brought 700 youths to the game to promote its "Join a team -- not a gang" campaign. LOL!
As far as the Brodhead deal is concerned, if the Duke/LAX trajedy does prevent some other university from figuratively lynching in the name of 'political correctness'some presumably innocent students in the future, then that would be at least a small silver lining. I wish it were so, but the Miami situation is no evidence of such.
