Well, there is really nothing left to sort out. Players at Miami were caught on tape clearing the bench, stomping on people and whacking them with football helmets. The "punishment" Shalala refers to is a one game suspension for most of the participants--ironically, the game is against Duke.

I thought the only thing missing from Shalala's statement was "And those FIU mo-fo's best not be disrespectin' our house."

Honestly, I haven't seen this video. But I think she's figured out from Brodhead that actions once taken in haste cannot be undone and can come back to haunt you. (Not that that conclusion is rocket science.) That's all I'm saying.
