Suzy, that's the big mistake women make..HE IS NOT CHEATING ON YOU WITH PORN...you know what it is? It women's insecurity. If a woman believes the image of a naked women is a threat to her marriage, than she has no marriage, and absolutely no self-image.
Hildy, you know I'm a card carrying member of the "GodSquad", but I have to agree with you here. Most women are incapable of understanding how a man can view pornography and still have no emotional connection to the woman in question. Because women cannot seperate sex from emotion, they naturally believe men are the same. A man has zero, none, abosolutely NO emotional connection to the woman in question.
Now, my belief is that the real sin in pornography is this emotional detatchment - we are commanded to view each and every person we come in contact with as a child of God; this is impossible when a man is objectifying a woman. It is a particular weakness I struggle with mightily.
But women, please listen: Men compartmenalize. They can lust after a woman without caring one whit about her personally. For men, love and lust are not intertwined. Stop assuming your man views the world through your eyes.
