LOS ANGELES - Country singer Sara Evans on Thursday announced she was filing for divorce and quitting the Dancing With the Stars television competition.
Evans filed for divorce from Craig Schelske in Williamson County, Tenn., where she lives, according to a statement issued by Allen Brown, her representative at Sony BMG Music Entertainment.

My dancing is different, but the feeling is the same.... Nothing is more fun than moving to music and letting it carry you along (and I like disco alot myself).
And no, you're not being petty. The wrong music with the wrong 'style' is ignorant and spreads misinformation.
Lol! That should've been her screenname.
Maybe we should have a Silver Bridge Award for Best Troll in Psychotic Performance.
However, who was it that once said, "she can be the most beautiful woman on the planet. But somewhere, some guy is sick of her s**t!"
Howard Stern
In the case of Sara's soon-to-be ex, it's a matter of abject stupidity.
The man had a GREAT life. Married to a beautiful, talented woman, presumably great kids, a home, and money.
Only a complete moron would risk that.
I am a Christian who thinks the voes to cleave only onto him or her as long as you both shall live are real vows. You don't. Porn is cheating. Anything that involves not turning to your spouse is.
I mean, it's one thing to hold our brothers and sisters to a certain standard, I'm all for it, but it's clear she is on a rampage of some sort and not listening to any reason. I hope I didn't seem too sarcastic towards you, but I'm frustrated and, quite frankly, hurt that another woman who is supposedly "In Christ" would be so hurtful towards another. I don't think porn is right, or good, and I do think it is sinful, but come on. She just told me that I don't take my marriage vows seriously.
She reminds me of those "Baptists" that protest military funerals because of homosexuals.
Hmmm... what's in a word origin? 'pornography' comes from the Greek:
Pornia = the devil
Graphia = picture
pornography = the devil's pictures
At any rate, if the spouse is willing and determined to get help, divorce shouldn't be the first response.
Oh puhleeze. More of this crap where a moral person isn't allowed to express themselves because it might harsh somebody's buzz. Man up a little there, princess.
Free speech includes not only the inoffensive but the irritating, the contentious, the eccentric, the heretical, the unwelcome and the provocative, provided it does not intend to provoke violence. Freedom only to speak inoffensively is not worth having. --Lord Justice Sedley:
Hildy, you know I'm a card carrying member of the "GodSquad", but I have to agree with you here. Most women are incapable of understanding how a man can view pornography and still have no emotional connection to the woman in question. Because women cannot seperate sex from emotion, they naturally believe men are the same. A man has zero, none, abosolutely NO emotional connection to the woman in question.
Now, my belief is that the real sin in pornography is this emotional detatchment - we are commanded to view each and every person we come in contact with as a child of God; this is impossible when a man is objectifying a woman. It is a particular weakness I struggle with mightily.
But women, please listen: Men compartmenalize. They can lust after a woman without caring one whit about her personally. For men, love and lust are not intertwined. Stop assuming your man views the world through your eyes.
Methinks you protest too much, my friend. I've often found the most hysterical supporters of your position have something to hide, or a hidden agenda.
Okay, I think we're on the same wavelength.
Real men who are married stay with their wives. Cow dung turns to porn.
What about when it's a wife abusing the husband (physically, verbally, emotionally)? OH YEAH - only men can be abusers. Therefore, if a man, in his weakness, looks at pornography, it can't possibly be because he's already been emotionally abandoned by the wife.
I'm not condoning looking at pornography, but consigning every man who does so to hellfire is naive and perhaps more disturbing than the sin in question.
You said it exactly the way I meant it. Thank you.
I came onto this thread to see what was up with SE and wandered into a very strange firestorm which is not a particular interest of mine...but it was like watching a car wreck...so I couldn't help but read through to the end.
I just wanted to say that yours is a brilliant post...correctly identifying the related sin involved. Nicely done.
Or, to be fair, have been very, very hurt by something.
IMO, that seems to be the issue here.
Do what?
Reality check... aisle 10.
Warren, well put.
What'd I miss? ;-)
You know, the article says he's "unemployed" - maybe he's making a little money on the side by posting New Media ads for Viagra!
