His team was the Florida Marlins, who were decimated by that loser Loria and the rest of their crooked management, who steal money from the so-called large market teams and don't even bother spending it on players (South Florida is small market - give me a break!). The Marlins were lucky to finish close to .500. Most people expected much worse.

I think you're probably correct, but what's interesting is that many of the young guns that did so well would have never been on the roster if he hadn't been forced to keep and play them by the GM.
