My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Thought of the Day
author George Sand wrote, "We cannot tear out a
single page of our life, but we can throw the
whole book in the fire."
Today is Wednesday, Nov. 8, the 312th day of 2005 with 53

Re: back to school . . . an older gent wandered into my classroom last night. He saw the lights on in the studios and checked us out. He hasn't painted in many years and has the urge to start again. I believe I have a new student.
It's fun to take courses.

Robert and I spent most of the day together down in Sacramento. We had some excellent father/son time and talked about lots of things. I really enjoyed our time together today.

Theres fire on the heights, and blood upon the moon most fair
and sword and dagger work in the streets enough and more
loud the cries and sad the sight as pillage razes a town
so some Persian wannabe can keep the infidels down
and each are but faith driven killing thieves and whores
and this gory glory wont stop until the bitter call to prayer
Noble as they calls themselves and wanton is their mood
taking whatever they want and laughing, burning futures lost
life is cheap upon the streets as madness takes control
and noble deeds and glory hounds take their bloody toll
such is the glory they seek in the end and honor do get tossed
history they will write and everything with honor to be imbued
Broken walls and broken faith litter the quiet street
as carrion crows gorge upon this days bitter feast
and off they ride with laden packs to another place
there to enact it all again against some other race
such is the desired thing of such death loving beasts
so pray my friend that you and they never, never meet
