My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

dripping water has hit my shoulder
I hit the couch like a boulder
gulping down some fast meds
making me sleepy in the head.
movie watching in on the outs
sandman drifts in and out
soaring feathers here and there
on my couch, a solace it bares

LOL! Well as far as Thailand goes, I'm only here for 5 days (now 4), it's much better if you use it just as a quick run through location. "Don't care, don't want to care, just pour my drink, and do whatever it is you do" is the proper attitude for Thailand, and 5 days is the proper length of stay.
But as far as Taiwan, well, I'm not sure, other than it adds spice to life. I did that corporate stint for 10 or 12 years, and it seemed like the end of the road, so all this unpredictability is both annoying, but stimulating too, there's a degree of role play in it all, you see.
However I am approaching the limits of my curiosity, and while I could stay here quite a while longer, I'm already starting to cut out some possibilities, such as:
"Start with a new employer" = no
Move to southern Taiwan where the people are more "provincial" = no
Move back to Thailand (remember the closed border and 12 hour bus ride fiasco?) = no
There are lots of things I've done over the last four years which I'm now not going to repeat, ever. I'm setting a long, leisurely, holding pattern, trending towards the termination of this chapter of my life and my return to the US.
I should at least have tons of stories and cultural comparisons to write about, and it's definitely not the commute-work all day inside-commute formula I worked those 10 or 12 years!!

Be Righteous
Sweet, the touch of a so gentle hand
giving aid freely with an open heart
both sides receiving in their own part
and enriching this long contested land
Eyes that see the smallest details within
remembering ever those moment clear
for from such well build something dear
and at last we may share it just once again
The soft sounds of a voice thats sad
expressing so a dark souls inner pain
is that what you really hear in the rain
or does it somehow echo in tones of glad
A Saint or a sinner its all levels of the same
entwined as one form or another for all time
and costing fortunes or just a careless dime
and you cant tell until you know its name
Like embers in the fire we all pass away
and yet for a time we burn with a light
that fills someone elses empty night
until that moment of the last coming day

Thank you, odd the thoughts that run through a mind as night wraps up the moments and the mind wanders in the strangest alleys!

Yes, true. I have been wandering, too much of later.
Lines come and go. I might grab them to jot them down but nothing makes any sense.
Focus if I could just stay focused.
