Anything in there about Chris Spedding?
I saw and heard Jimmy Page play with the Yardbirds once before he started Led Zepplin. When I heard him play, I said to a friend, "listen to the guitar player, he's really good". Same thing for when I saw Jeff Beck before he was famous.
It was readily apparent.
Jeff Beck's coming to town, and I think I'll attend his show. I've never been a fan; actually, I don't know his music that well, but I thought it would be good to see a guitar legend before it's too late.
