English was not her best language. She was Swedish and spoke most European languages. Very good teacher, I remember cuke today, well not the German word. How many German teaches can also teach you English.

LOL! Every now and then I think of rotating it w/something else, but change my mind (the Kerry-hate is strong in this one). Looks like it has saved me from a FReeper attack.

Roly-poly? Hmmm. I think I may have heard that too. I always called them doodlebugs, but I think Diana might be in the American majority with calling them pillbugs. In fact, Wisconsonian seems pretty standard to me, except for that youse business. For extra credit, what do yall call these multicolor sugary things that people put on cupcakes & donuts:

Yep, that's what I call 'em too. But some people, in the NE at least, call 'em jimmies (sp?).

We lived in Sheboygan for 2 years. What a darling city! My husband and I move around a lot so I've picked up accents from Georgia, North Carolina, Texas and Missouri. My neighbor told me she loved when we got to visit just to hear me talk. I felt the same way about her! LOL! :o) I miss it up there, especially this time of year. It's so beautiful!
