Will do.
Some cases you might check out are:
Bobby Franks: This was back in 1924. It was a highly publized thrill kill, that also included a bogus ransom note.
Amber Hagerman: (Amber Alert)Her killer was never caught. All that is known was he drove a dark *pickup* truck. The Amber Alert to alert the public and help track down automobiles suspected of being involved in a child abduction
Megan Kanka: (Megan's Law) Megan's killer was a convicted child molester who rented a house with *two other men*. I believe these two other men were also ex convicts, as the wording of the article sounded like that, but I haven't confirmed it with another source yet. Megan's Law is the law responsible for giving the public access to the location of convicted sex offenders in the area.
Adam Walsh: Adam was kidnapped outside of a Sears store. He was *beheaded*. While his head was recovered, the rest of his remains were never found

You got it - #1, Bobby Franks. Leopold and Loeb planned some of that murder at the country home of one of their families in Charlevoix, MI, not far at all from the Ramseys' house there.

Oh, I have a wonderful book I bought several years ago, which details several kidnappings including Leopold and Loeb = Bobby Franks.
