For your bookmarking assistance, this is a reference list of links to the Aug 2006 or newer Free Republic threads on the topic of the JonBenet Ramsey murder case and the possible arrest of John Mark Karr as a suspect in her murder.
Is she the one that Tracey described as disgraceful and Wood threatented to sue? (On AC 360)
IMO all the people at the parties that the Ramsey's went to during that year should look at their pictures.
My greatest hope is that if it is him, there are no loopholes, that there's a conviction and it brings some type of relief and comfort to John Ramsey.
I agree with you....absolutely and think that's one of the reasons they are plastering his face all over the place. News becomes old very soon...and we flip to the next story after a few days.
That's the problem. Most of this was all public information years ago and the news articles only describe what he knew vaguely, so it's hard to tell how MUCH detail he provided. But the basics of what they're saying were known.
But besides, this guy was known to have obsessed over it and was planning to "write a book". If so, how many people close to the case has he talked to? He could have culled loads of information not published before. This all seems really weak. They need DNA evidence. If there are details he is aware of then the only ones that we can be sure of as material to his guilt or innocence are those details relating directly to the crime scene itself.
For now I'd say the DA has been had.
ok...I figured it out, you got the info from the video off this site.

I doubt very seriously whether he went to the Ramsey company Christmas party. Why would he? Not even all the employees went to it.
The company had 600 employees and only 300 went to the luncheon.
When would Karr have left Hamilton, AL, to get to Boulder in time for lunch? He substitute-taught the day before, December 19th, at Vina School in Franklin Co., AL.
I can't watch videos on my puter, so I haven't seen that. I've had to glean parts of it from TV interviews with "Wendy" and from posts here - haven't seen a transcript.
IMO It was mostly leaked information (therefore unreliable) and conjecture. Much of it was put out by a biased Boulder individuals to appear that they knew what they were doing.....Otherwise known as "saving their B__ts"
Did the Ramsey's have a open house? (like a decorate the house for Christmas and let people tour the house kinda thing?)
Now which Christmas party was this where you think John Karr would have talked to JonBenet?
Not that year
Yelp....a couple of days before Christmas.
All the people at the party he is alleging he attended knew each other. There were no strangers at that party.
I thought it was that year ..... WHich year was it?
Where did you find that he substituted on the 19th? First I've heard that.
He also called himself Damon in his "rock star" persona stage - then named his 2nd son Damon.
I am getting stuff off the websleuths forum that this Wendy is saying that Karr told her the Ramsey's had a open house and that Karr went to it and toured the house during this open house.
Where I live they do open houses at Christmas time, so that people can view the Christmas decorations. The house does not have to be historic or old.

" ... Seven days before 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey died, the man who told authorities he "accidentally" killed her was finishing the semester at Vina School as a substitute teacher.
Records from the Franklin County Board of Education indicate John Mark Karr worked as a substitute teacher from Dec. 17 to Dec. 19, 1996. Ramsey was found dead in the basement of her Boulder, Colo., home Dec. 26, 1996, authorities said.
Former Vina Principal Johnny Hester said that after the 1996 Christmas break, Karr continued to serve as a substitute teacher at Vina in early 1997 and throughout that year. ..."
Early on in the case, a man (think his name was Wolf), was considered a possible suspect. He had a sweat shirt with the initials SBTC which stood for Sana Barbara Tennis Club. Not much more was said about his after a cursory look.
