People confess to crimes they didn't commit all the time. They want the notariety.

So far, there is no compelling evidence that this guy did it. I'm hoping something more substantive comes out of the press conf in 2 hours in Boulder.

They are bringing this guy back for a reason. I'm betting they already have tested the DNA and linked him as being in Boulder at the time.

This is what I'm wondering too. But obviously the authorities involved know that. They must have more on him.
The statement out of the DA's office seemed they are convinced that this is their man.

I remember thinking the first time I saw a sample from the ransom note, that there was something effeminate about the handwriting. I'd like to see his handwriting.
