Jon Benet may not have been old enough for her to have had him as a teacher but Burke would most likely have been in his class the year before, so there would have been a connection there.
What was the square footage of the Ramsey's house in Boulder? Anyone know?

I don't tend to associate second-grade teachers with "drifters". Not impossible but I'm guessing there's a lot more to this if it adds up. I'm also just a little suspicious of who might be tipping this off.
I also think Patsy's death is not incoincidental in the timing of the arrest.

Patsy Ramsey was ostricized...shunned. A friend of mine moved in her neighborhood and got to know her well. Both of their boys were in baseball together. My friend commented about how nice and polite she was. She did have a core group of friends. After a while, I'm sure the public accepted her again...to a point.

people always say that but I never hear of it actually happening..... Happened to Jeffrey Dahmer.

even some people who claim they are conservatives are idiots. I can't believe anyone at this point is still trying to point the finger at the Ramsey's. I heard on Foxnews this guy has confessed to the crime. He also has a record as a pervert. Case closed IMO!

Yes, but I am the kind of man who goes wherever the facts and the evidence takes me. IMO, an intruder would never have written such a long "ransom note" and would not have known about the $118K bonus that the father received. I read a long article on the web a few weeks ago, which appears to be credible, about the meeting between Colorado police and FBI's child crimes profilers in Quantico, VA. According to this article (which I can probably find again if you're really interested), the FBI profilers concluded that one of the parents probably knows who killed her. The FBI profilers shot down the intruder theory very quickly because the crime doesn't fit the behavior of an unknown intruder in several different ways.
Yes, I am a conservative but I'm a very open-minded guy with a background in logic and information analysis, and I also know what kind of nasty stuff happens sometimes in the world. It's not that these crimes are that common, it's just that with modern communications technology, we now hear about all the lurid crime going on around the world. The same crimes happened 100 years ago, but people didn't hear much about them back then.

Excellent news. I pray that they finally caught the vermin who killed that little girl.
I used to believe that the parents were somehow involved in her death until I really looked at the available evidence, saw pictures of her little body and read the reports. Back then the thinking was "no one just takes a child from their bedroom in the middle of the night." Since then all sorts of horrific crimes have happened to children who were taken out of their beds by complete strangers. Granted, JonBenet was never taken out, but I believe that she was going to be. Something went wrong, he either couldn't get her out the way he planned, or he couldn't wait and he molested and killed her, leaving the long, rambling, nonsensical note behind.
The ransom note always bothered me. Once I saw it, and I didn't think it look like Patsy's writing samples, it didn't make sense to me that educated people as the Ramseys would not write such a rambling, ridiculous note demanding such an odd amount of money. They are not stupid; they would have to know that the handwriting would be looked at. The amount, if it was in fact the amount of John's bonus, would be a huge red flag. If they were cunning enough to stage the scene, complete with garrotte and suitcase by the broken window, how did they completely turn into morons and compose a blatantly juvenile three-page ransom note, using their own notepad and sharpie, to boot--not to mention the practice note that was found in the garbage? It never added up for me.
Hearing that this vermin confessed and knew only details that LE knew, I pray that he will plead guilty and be put away. Hearing that Patsy was told that he was in their sites and would soon be arrested makes me think that she then felt she could finally let go. She died knowing her baby's killer was finally found.
When Lou Smitt was put on the case everyone raved how this brilliant detective would solve the crime--after all he had solved some 300 crimes. When he came to the conclusion that the Ramseys were not involved, he suddenly didn't know what he was talking about and was treated as a fool. There was definite tunnel vision by the Boulder PD.
I pray this is their guy, and that he won't be able to hurt another baby again.

John Ramsey has issued a statement:
Press Release Source: Powell Goldstein LLP
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060816/dcw043.html?.v=61 Statement of John Ramsey on Today's Arrest in Connection With the Murder of His Daughter, JonBenet Ramsey
Wednesday August 16, 5:20 pm ET
ATLANTA, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is statement of John Ramsey on today's arrest in connection with the murder of his daughter, JonBenet Ramsey:
"I want to have only very limited comment on today's arrest because I feel it is extremely important to not only let the justice system operate to its conclusion in an orderly manner, but also to avoid feeding the type of media speculation that my wife and I were subjected to for so many years," said John Ramsey. "I do want to say, however, that the investigation of the individual arrested today in connection with JonBenet's death was discussed with Patsy and me by the Boulder District Attorney's office prior to Patsy's death in June. So Patsy was aware that authorities were close to making an arrest in the case and had she lived to see this day, would no doubt have been as pleased as I am with today's development almost 10 years after our daughter's murder. Words cannot adequately express my gratitude for the efforts of Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy and the members of her investigative team."
"The Ramseys and I have been totally amazed and impressed with the professionalism of law enforcement under the direction of Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy. This was obviously an incredibly complex task but one that has been carried out in almost textbook fashion with the investigation of this individual going on for several months, without any leaks in the case," said L. Lin Wood, attorney for the Ramsey family and a partner at Powell Goldstein in Atlanta. "I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the many people who have stood by the Ramseys, believing in them and their innocence throughout these long and difficult years."
John Ramsey will not be providing any interviews at this time. Requests for future interviews should be directed to Lin Wood, attorney for the Ramsey Family.

They've apparently been quietly firming up their case for the past 2 months.

Think again. Think about the "ransom note" and who might have written it and why. Also look at some of the reported statements by the parents that do not make sense, such as a reported statement by the father that he did not find his daughter on his first search of the basement. If he actually said that, I don't believe a father would ever have missed his daughter in the first search. That house isn't that big. OTOH, I saw the father on TV once and he struck me as a perfectly normal guy who would never harm his daughter. Nonetheless some of their statement don't make sense.

But we do have predatory deviancy here.
Look at all the abductions in Florida this year.
At least we have not legalized pedophelia... yet.

I'm thinking that some of these questions will be cleared up as we know the whole story. Off the top of my head, I'd say he knew Patsy Ramsey in some fashion.

Yes. This case is weird. It's the Lindburgh
case of this generation. Many mysteries and
unanswered questions.
