An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.

Patsy Ramsey was treated horribly in her home town north of Atlanta. May she be in peace now.

I am sure whatever you saw was creepy, but flippers are perfectly normal for kids in the industry. All child actors use them when they are missing teeth (that could give away their true ages or simply for cosmetic reasons). They can pop them out after filming.

I just found that same info., I would bet he is the one that they have arrested. First time I have ever saw his name associated with this case. Seems his close association the the family and the children would have made him a viable suspect from the beginning.

I doubt either parent did the deed, but kiddie beauty pageants are also "known havens for pedophiles", and the Ramseys expended tremendous amounts of money and effort to display JonBenet at those things. It's not unreasonable to have suspected them of have been willingly acquainted with some sickos would do something like this, and of not being fully forthcoming with police about what and who they knew. Lots of pervs who hang out at those pageants also hang out in Thailand.
