An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.
Stand by for details and updates as they come in.
Agreed....it was hilarious
This thread is being hijacked by a serious case of Thailanditis.
Then, it's back to Aruba for the rest of the year!
They changed the headline moments ago, but I have a screen capture.
drudge finally got it...
I always suspected she sold or loaned her to the actual killer.
What is...
Thailand?
I'll take Potent Potables for $200, Alex.
She changed it to arrest of suspect.
My guess is that if it is the father, the mother gave law enforcement some evidence before her death.
What's really funny about it is that I posted before reading the thread. It's all about timing.
Greta V's little heart must be all aflutter.
Not really. We don't know that the person who is being arrested is the one who "did it"; could be an accomplice of some sort. The mother could still be either the killer or an accomplice, or even if neither, may have known all along who the killer was and for some reason didn't want to reveal it (she might have left a tell-all letter in a safe deposit box to be opened after she died, which would explain the timing).
If the mom or dad did this I will be totally shocked. I have believed in their innocence since day 10.
They just changed the headline at Lucianne.com from "father" to "suspect"
Thailand?????
If it was up - it's gone now - all it says is "suspect"
Can anyone tell me where this arrest will be made???
The Boulder police ought to be charged with murder. Mrs. Ramsey just died of cancer - probably from the stress of years of false accusation.
I doubt they'll even get an apology.
Trent: So where to eat? You like Thai?
Homer: Tie good. You like shirt?
