How many cats would you like to have?????
I'm glad you rescued her and were able to provide her a good home. I hate hearing of cats that are suffering and it's always wonderful to hear when they find their way to a better life.
Rosie, I had the same experience you did with talkativeness. I use to think they just wanted something like a treat, but often they'd just ignore whatever treat I would offer to continue to greet me with yeowls, rubs, etc. I realized they were just geniunely glad to see me and not expecting anything in return.
I realy like the way you said it doesn't really matter if either side doesn't really understand what the other is saying. The part of that, that makes me laugh is the immediacy of her need to report!
Women are not to bad, until you try to exchange them for a younger, prettier woman. Then the claws come out and the fur flys ... your fur..........
Me too. I'll go for a walk tonight and see if she's there. She's ALWAYS in the window so it's strange she's not been since Monday morning.
I have a half Siamese/half only God knows what that I got from the SPCA. Her face looks exactly like your Siamese. But her body is partly white with Siamese colors interspersed. She has many of the Siamese traits such as following my son around WHEREVER he goes. And her fur is incredibly soft. Her only bad habit is sleeping at the top of stairs (ANY STAIRS) and refusing to move so you can get past her.
So true. Only my Chocolate Point does that. But he's so dominant the Snowshoe always holds back until Max is no longer hogging my attention. Then C.B. will let me know he's there too and loves me as much as Max. But as with everything between those two, C.B. always waits to do it last because Max is king of our jungle.
LOL!
My two girls are named Xiao Ju and Mao. In Mandarin Chinese, Xiao Hu means "little tiger," and Mao means "the animal that makes the "mao(meow) sound.
Course they're also named after two Chinese commie dictators!
It really helps to know how to raise a cat. I think that most people who complain, don't have a clue!
Good luck!
I'm off now to meet my husband - free dance lessons at the Monona Terrace! :-)
Just like with your son, Sam follows or leads me everywhere, too. That's one of things that makes her dog-like to me.
She'd get out of your way if she'd been kicked out of the way a few times, something which I'm glad you haven't done. Be thankful you have to step over her.

Jo Jo the Dog-Faced Boy
At the turn of the 19th century, it was PT Barnum whose circus display was truly the greatest show on earth. It was an era where people were curious, and looking for entertainment. Years before television captured the attention of everyone and eliminated their imagination; the circus had something that appealed to everyone. Feats of magic and acrobats impressed a culture that hadn't seen it all. Old-fashioned rides, the first incarnations of the rollercoaster thrilled the culture that wasn't used to driving high speed commutes everyday. And the circus sideshow appealed to the curious, and the freaks that worked there made them scream and faint. There was an innocence to this period that has since been lost. The circus side show, the freak show is a symbol of those times of curiosity and desire for more. Sadly it is a symbol that has faded to nothing.
Great cartoon!

I did discover that there is ONE thing that will remove my cat from the top of the stairs. As long as I remember to carry a spray bottle of water with me at all times.
Not too bad. They're short hairs, so not bad.
Haha ... and horrible photoshopping as well.
You know that she believes being sprayed by you is insulting . . .
