Phishing. Answer the questions, and I can probably access you accounts by claiming to have lost "my" password, but being able to answer the security question, "Name of pet?"

Well, answer if you want to, but any good phishing scheme provides and asks for much more information than is required. Simply asking the pertinent questions would be a dead giveaway.
