Because it is simplified in favor of evolution to show the difficulty of the number of differences between the "proto human" gene and a human gene and 10 million years to get from the one to the other.

It's not simplified. It's wrong. It bears no resemblance to any scenario outside the mind of a creationist.
If you can't state your opponent's position, you can't join the debate.
Let's see you figure out what's wrong with the "simplification." If you can, I will respond. I don't believe you, or any of the evolution critics can write a simple paragraph describing how an actual biologist would describe this evolution scenario.
