Indy star Danica Patrick has hinted lately that she might be willing to give NASCAR a try. Although I believe the hints are nothing more than her gaining a little leverage as her contract with Letterman/Rahal expires at season's end, I'm still going to offer her a little advice.
Stay where you are, Danica. The Indy Racing League needs you.

No way, that broad is waaaaay too skinny.
Danica can apply for a position selling beer at NASCAR events, but otherwise, she's a pogo stick in an Olympic pole vaulting competition.
NASCAR - Non-Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks
......ducks and covers........................
Good grief! LOL
Would she have a better chance to win in NASCAR? I thought they gave the best restrictor plates to drivers they want to win.
"NASCAR - Non-Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks"
Non-athletic?
Then I noticed your posting name...
She is very hot and easy on the eyes ;) Honestly I don't like Nascar and not much interested F-1 since the cars are almost the same. More into drag and rally, since there is some major differences between cars depending on who made it.
I've never understood why people get so excited about Dan's bony little boy-butt. She's more creepy than sexy.
Baby got NO back.
Actually Michelle hasn't proven anything in the LPGA.
She won the Publinks US Amateur when she was 13 but she hasn't won anything in the last 3 years.
I can't for the life of me understand what she is doing trying out for PGA events...all she is doing is wasting celebrity value...she was in 149th spot yesterday when they took her away in an ambulance...
I've enjoyed the experience of two daughters going from age 14-18...believe me the use of enjoy was sarcasm... Michele may become the greatest woman golfer ever...but she and her "camp" are woefully mismanaging her career. Tiger's career would have been a perfect model for Michelle.
Danica on the other hand is a mature young lady and is definitely talented...but in NASCAR..."bump and grind" has a meaning with which I am sure Danica is unfamiliar.
I hope she does come to stock car racing and I hope she brings Vince McMahan with her. Nascar has gotten boring, cookie cutter cars, cookie cutter drivers, ancient technology. If you can watch a Daytona 500 without taking a nap you must be drunk. Lots of good racing on Speed however.
(Apologies in advance for the drunk remark.)
Jeff Gordon did redeem himself a bit when he drop kicked Matt Kenseth the other day, thats the way a Queen should act! Somebody needs to tell those boys to stop whining.
I like Vince *lol* I don't watch NASCAR anymore. I watched more of it in New York where it's not as popular. Now I just find it boring and am pursuing other interests.
Now of course they're free to do whatever they like, but one would think they'd at least win something before claiming nothing is left for them to prove. And if they fail at the next level, they've certainly burned the bridge behind them. Perhaps the sponsor dollars are large enough to make the risk worthwhile.
Whoa!
Nork - wanna ping the list?
Oh....that's funny.
The sponsor dollars are definitely there...but they will dry up quickly if she continues to fall short.
Remember Anika Sorenstam...appeared on only one PGA event and she is arguably the best woman golfer ever. But her appearance/performance apparently sucked all the PR/sponsor dollars out or her pride lead her to elude the appearance of being a loser.
"I don't care who you are, that's funny."
Yeah, I should've added an emoticon or < /sarcasm > tag...
1) NASCAR has gone about as far away from its roots as possible and somehow expanded its fan base; that in itself deserves some scientific study.
2) I'd agree with the "prefer drags and rally" comment except I'm only good for about one drag event a year, then it becomes reruns.
3) IRL &/or CART ... can only tell them apart by the (spec) engine manufacturer's name painted on the side and I'm not even sure it is still CART. They're interesting ONLY because of the drivers themselves and Patrick makes that cut. Almendinger (sic) on the other hand seems to be the real deal as well as a better story.
4) It's not true that finishing 24th means no one has a right to pull for a driver; if Yates could field a decent team Sadler would be in the chase. People like Kyle Petty despite the fact that he couldn't find first place if his father was driving. One of my all time favorites was Cecil Gordon, anybody remember him?
5) Don't knock advertising on the cars, it's the only reason Jarret has a job.
6) Everybody WANTS to see a competitive female driver, everybody WANTS to see a competitive black driver; once it gets done one time (as in drags, tennis, golf) you'll see more.
7) There is no valid explanation for Derrik Cope or Formula 1.
