As one of the resident curmudgeons around here, I'll take this opportunity to whine about how so many funeral eulogies seem to be more like five-minute comedy routines. And what really burns me is the material is rarely funny, but leads to the mourners exchanging grimaces of discomfort.
What ever happened to dignified, somber showings of respect and grief?

Tips said Mission Park is building five new funeral homes in San Antonio that will include facilities for weddings and banquets as well as concessions for funerals. How 'bout a Burger King in one of those funeral homes?
Just a suggestion.

Hey, you're young and swingin',
No time to think about tomorrow.
But there ain't no use to deny it.
One day you're gonna buy it,
Maybe tomorrow!
