This is the ridiculous jumping to conclusions I am talking about. So now they are going to truck WMD's to Kansas City. I got news for you, any truck crossing the border on a road or rail line is going to still get some form of inspection That would be the sensible thing. However, that is not what the documents bear out. The borders at Laredo et al, will be fitted with RFID sensors that will verify the shipment. There is no reference to an actual physical search. In fact, the studies behind this policy urge the ultimate free flow of goods and people across the "border". You seem to be an intelligent and rational person, and not a troll as I bleieved from your first post. So I offer you my apologies. I hope you accept them, and please do some of this research yourself, before assuming that myself and others like me are merely "conspiracy nuts". deal?

Like I said or implied, they may not open the sealed containers and search them (unless a seal is broken) but that doesn't mean that these shipments will be exempt from the normal dogs and/or sensor (radiation) routine. RFID is about paperwork issues.

Let me be clear. I'm not happy about substandard Mexican trucks being on US highways, that was one of Bush's mistakes. I'm not thrilled with current border and port inspection proceedures, more can and should be done. But this inland port issue isn't the creation of a giant security hole that Corsi and Joe Farah so desparately want to believe. We've had inland ports for years, Virginia's in Front Royal is a good example.

Back in the Clinton years I was a big fan of Farah and World Nut Daily. In 2004 I took Corsi at his word. As time passed and I've been able to read their work on subjects that I am actually somewhat or very familiar with, I've come to despise them as shoddy, alarmist, frequently wrong, and the type who can backfire and harm conservatism. All too often they jump to the wrong conclusions and make it clear that they have no idea what they are talking about. So perhaps my rudeness was too much, from patience worn thin, but I can't stand dishonest demagogues, no matter what side of politics they are on.

Anyway, have a good evening.
