If you hate messing with gas engines, a gas one might be a headache. They're real finicky on starting. I cuss a lot when I run mine.

Stihl's are reliable and easy startin'... never had a problem with mine... yes, they're a little more pricey, but seriesly werth the muhney... seriesly... I gotta blade attachment fer mine that can take down 4" diameter brush... bigger if'n I feel froggy...

messed around with cheap ones fer a looooooong time... I'll never go back...

Good tip. They ought to make a good one.

Mines a Craftsman... and it's not bad, but it's a little frustrating trying to figure out exactly what it wants sometimes... especially trying to start it hot.

Becky also tells me they make a light duty cordless rechargeable that might do just fine for you.
