If I see them pee, I water it real quick... dilute it down some and prevents the dead spot.
See, males are supposed to be better for lawns, because they're supposed to pee ~on~ things like posts and trees and things, thereby not making dead spots. Your dog pees like a girl :~D
Huh - so either horses have less Nitrogen in their pee, or the soil out in the pasture is really nitrogen deficient maybe?
My "Renegade Chaplain" flag is currently back in Afghanistan, flying in Idaho National Guard AH64s.
By the way, does anybody remember the size of that flag?
My guess is that horses have less nitrogen....they don't eat meat which has amino acids which contain nitrogen.
They varied in size..... ours are about 3x5, kindof "standard flag" size. I think 2J's was extra big.
Does anybody else out there have a problem with "haunted cursors" in Windows XP pro? Every few minutes (so it seems) my stoopid cursor migrates up or down without me moving the mouse. It's annoying!
I was listening to an "Ask the Vet" radio program, and the vet said that a splash of tomato juice in with the dog's food was good for the dog and would help prevent the yellow spots on the lawn. LSA
Wow! Cisco shoulda had a V8!
When that happens to me it's usually because Cartman is sleeping on the mousepad.
Interesting :~D
Heh...
Well, at least it means I don't have to wait long for him if he needs to go out...he doesn't do the running around peeing on five or six things bit.
Right now the animals are all sacked out...cats on the couch, Cisco on the floor. And Halvah is on her back and dreaming of something...keeps making noises and pawing the air.
Yeah - Logan never really let himself go empty... Always held a little back.
Do you have another mouse you could plug in to see if it's hardware related? And sometimes I've seen that with optical mice on certain surfaces...you could try skipping the mouse pad or using a different one for a bit.
So sometimes having a sissy dog is a good thing, I guess...
I've accomplished nothing today. But I suppose I can always do stuff on the 4th. Not like I'll have much else to do.
Mmm...tomato juice...
Wonder if that really works? I wouldn't mind having some tomato juice around in any case...maybe I'll experiment. ;-)
I wonder if just letting them have tomatoes would do the same. I'm going to have a TON of cherry tomatoes here in short order, I'm afraid.
Well, you can come over and hang out if you want... We can find something to watch on TV, let the dogs run.... Is that 'accomplishing something'?
Hmmm....lemme see if I have another mouse that's in working order around here.
BTW, it's a serial mouse. I's on thelaptop and I've got a real keyboard plugged into the PS2 mouse port.
Ah...laptop. Well...that complicates things a bit, doesn't it? Does it have a trackpoint or stick of any kind? Sometimes those get wonky...might be worth disabling the stick if it does have one. Some of 'em only let you do that in CMOS, I think.
I'm just thinking I should weedwhack and burn trash, but it's too hot. I'm also realizing I dunno where I can plug anything in. The only outlet in the front near the door...doesn't work. And I don't think there are any outside, though maybe it'd just hidden. And I'm sure there are ways I can finagle it.
I suppose in the long run I should be looking out at garage sales for a gas one anyhow, no? Considering I *could* do a LOT of weedwhacking if I really wanted to make things tidy.
