I’ve used Phantom fireworks cakes for a couple of years now (I haven’t got a pyrotechnics license --- yet. I did assist in a show once and got the bug).

Anyway, I realize this is a silliness thread but if you have any suggestions - I’d love to know some tips…

It’s the same thing every year, my wife doesn’t understand the money I put into the show until it’s over.

Here's a fun one we do every year--

Buy several hundred bottle rockets and get a largish bucket (at least a 5-gallon size). Be sure the bucket is not plastic or it won't be usable afterwards. We put holes in the side around the bottom for air flow.

Put as many bottle rockets in the bucket as possible--all pointing upwards. Be sure you cannot see the bottom of the bucket, and they are all standing on their sticks.

Stick in 2-3 of the super-large sparklers. These will act as fuses.

Light the sparklers and get to several hundred feet away.

Enjoy the show.
