Looks like the rain is going to let up today. My co-workers had a retirement dinner for me last night. Very good meal, and they got me a gift certificate from Best Buy. More games! 
Sometimes they are stolen and get or turned loose. Sometimes they just get out. Several have been brought to my stable and some just find their way on their own. Some owners (some from other states) are eventually found. Some pay for the care and take them home. The sad thing is that the horses show up in such bad shape. The good news is that they usually heal and get fat and happy.
