This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

New folk and occasional posters, jump right in and introduce yourselves, tell us about your horses, and post pictures if you've got them!
Do they have planes that are built for horses? I was wondering about that today and was thinking that would not be a good place for a horse to get rowdy in.

MY EYES! Yall are my witness if the cops come knocking on my door. I was searching for horse air transportation. I opened a link. It was animal porn. I closed it real fast but I saw. EWWWWWWWWW. There are some really sick people in this world.
They fly the Olympic team all over the world to compete. They basically use cargo planes and build the horse a box stall to ride in.

I know. As my granddaughter says "I waz just kiddin" about the link. I was serious about the site though. I was looking at horse air transportation and I clicked on one. Sometimes there are several things under a link. I'm usually very careful about opening stuff up though.

We'll allow you guys some time to visit and play tourist. In my world this is exciting though - can't remember the last time I had a vacation but I think it's been over twenty years.
I haven't had much of a sheltered life. I've seen and heard a lot and not much shocks me but yeah, that did.

Some things it's just real difficult for me to imagine and that's one of them. Don't care to know anymore though :)
The problem is who would take care of Bob? and if I brought him, who would take care of Prez, Indy, Friday, Sonny, Tuffy, Fancy, Ghost, BamBam, Slick, Farah, Red, Fanny, CJ, Egypt, Dusty, Lace, Josey, Quest, Thumper, Arizona, Zuni, Buddy, Tessa, Angel, Jezzi, Ruby, Momma Cat, Little Sister, Buffy, George, Tom, Monte, Monique, George (2nd), the three rabbits, 22 chickens and my angel fish? I may have forgotten someone there, I'm not sure :)
