I wasn't sure if this belongs on the front page, but it was so funny - I thought I should post it.
Basically - if this is accurate - AP ran a satire piece as a story.

Monkey see, monkey do. I could see that. It surely wouldn't be a stretch.

Britney wants the paparazzi to leave her alone yet she is an media hound. She needs to have her mother help her out with the kid(s).

It used to be routine to lock up imbeciles, now they're media stars.

Is this another "fake but accurate" piece? Is Dan Rather working for AP now?

I actually feel sorry for her. She is a public figure, but it looks like she's out of the spotlight for now with the exception of the media hounding her and following her around hoping to catch her in an "oops." I'm not a fan, but sheesh, if the media followed us around non-stop, they would catch us making mistakes too. It's not like she's an elected representative either, just a pop star.

According to a rumor at
http://www.wwtdd.com, Angelina Jolie went there to get a c-section because she has herpes.

"I actually feel sorry for her.:"I would have felt sorry for her if she hadn't gone on national TV with her boobs hanging out, her skirt up to her pelvic bone and chomping on gum all the while talking and crying.

I caught 10 minutes of that interview last night. Perhaps the poor girl hasn't had time to go shopping, too busy taking care of the little one :-). Seriously though, I thought she could have dressed better than that, after all, it was a tv interview, not a day at the beach. She sure looks as if she's gained a heck of a lot of weight.

Interestingly a
Google cache version of the page of NAMPA, the official Namibian press agency, lists the Spears headline for June 14. It's possible the government was taken in by the spoof story, or maybe someone was inspired my the story to spoof the Namibian government by calling and claiming to be one of Spears' people.

New suggested title: "Should anyone care?"
