I find this story to be comforting and uplifting. Its not only a fine example of the American spirit, but it shows that we will never again allow a bunch of murdering thugs to take control of another passenger plane.

I went to Betanzos this afternoon to see the first day of the Medieval Fair. I wanted to go early to avoid the crowds and make sure I had a place to park.

Betanzos was the capital of Galicia in Roman times so its Medieval flavor is rather modern for this town.
