FOFLOL. I know it seems absurd and I can't speak for all those smaller locations but, Mule Day in Columbia is a big deal. Honest. It is an annual event. The town not only swarms with innocent locals, their children and pets but every elected official (and their opponents) for miles around put in an appearance.
I suspect it is an emerging concern about terrorist wannabes or copycats that prompted Homeland Security to release a list like that. A Heads Up or warning to smaller communities not to become complacent.

Hello all you cute little chickens. Sorry I've been MIA again, but been tangled up in "house" stuff.
Just made a deal to buy the entire bedroom set from the owners of the house. Yayyy...now I don't have to shop for a new one and then wonder when we'd ever get it delivered.
Just finished making the sex machine a big pot of American Chop Suey for supper. He has a cold and needs to be coddled...;)
It's raining again, and expecting more of the flooding type soon. What a summer from hell this has been weather-wise. Oh I forgot to mention that we had about a half hour of ice cube size hail the other day. Thought it was going to break the vent windows. It was ringing the "Come and Get It Bell on the back porch.
My flowers are sooo beaten. I am so upset over my beautiful Geraniums. I don't know if they'll ever be the same.

South of Boston, I've been catching you weather reports up there. It sounds devastating!!
How far will you be moving?
Will it still be raining? (he-he)

Golly Grannie,
Sounds like you are being pummelled.
That kind of hail sure turns flowers into mulch.
Thanks for keeping us posted, did any of the little leprechauns in your yard get dinged?
Cheers.

My daughter just told me about her adventures in the storm down in MA yesterday. She needed a boat to get around. Peabody Sq was under water as usual.
Is it still raining there? Is here.. :(

Our little bunnies are out and about..so they are ok, but the flowers got beaten up good. Hope a few days of sun will perk them up again....if we ever get any.

It finally began raining south of Boston after two lousy humid, dark days without it.
Earlier this afternoon, my friend on the North Shore said they were getting quite a light show and impressive rain. I haven't heard for about 3 hours.
Stay safe.

The weather really is quite pleasant here most of the time. It gets pretty hot during the day, but not unbearable. Even Little Rock is much worse. I'm sure I would have the AC on down there where you're at too. The heat gets brutal. I lived in Georgia for a few years. Summer would get so hot you rarely even cooked much in the summer. Lots of salads, sandwiches and fruit. Louisiana climate is similar to Georgia.

Yeah. I'm too old for this crap.
Last week I had blood blisters on my eardrum. Amoxicillin and Cipro ear-drops temporarily cleared it up.

Sounds painful. Also sounds like you didn't stay on the stuff long enough.

Full course. Not particularly painful, felt more like I had a teddybear in my ear. Couldn't hear well, like when you can;t get your ear to -pop- on an airplane.
