redhead has "twilight" for four hours between sunset and sunrise. In the winter, you must not have much daylight...

I remembered that from Germany. We had rolling metal shutters on the house that kept it dark inside. Those shutters always seemed like overkill to me.
We were in Tromsø, Norway, early one August; when we were there at midnight the sun just reached the horizon and came back up. The hotel had heavy drapes on the windows for darkness.
But I need to go and shower the plant fragments off me now...
