"Hot enough for you?" We're being rendered in Maryland. ( 11. To reduce, convert, or melt down (fat) by heating.)
You?

I was at a friend's car dealership yesterday, and I watched a salesman literally melt while trying to sell a car. Both customer and salesman gave up on the test drive : )

Car ACs should have a plug-in electric option. This device could be arranged to act as an emergency starter for the engine.
It would add about fifty to a hundred and fifty bucks to the cost, but it wouldn't be practical without at least a carport.
In the Winter, the same connection could be used to preheat the passenger compartment, and perhaps the engine block.
Actually, I'm all for having an automobile "docking station" where the electrical and heating systems of your car integrate with those of your house. When power fails in your house, the automobile would power up and provide emergency power to selected circuits.
A eutectic salt heat-storage system would transfer some of the waste heat from your driving into a home water pre-heat system, and the car, when running in emergency mode, would provide backup heat for the house.

Er, not exactly...
A good day to be in an air-conditioned house, even better when your room is two-thirds underground.

Yeah, I suppose ...
But you'll never get "well-digger's butt" cold from an air conditioner.
