WASHINGTON, May 31 After vowing to steer a greater share of antiterrorism money to the highest-risk communities, Department of Homeland Security officials on Wednesday announced 2006 grants that slashed money for New York and Washington 40 percent, while other cities including Omaha and Louisville, Ky., got a surge of new dollars.
Homeland security officials said the grants were a result of a more sophisticated evaluation process

I don't mind her attacking Liberals for their endorsement of Darwinism because they perceived it as a Godless theology. That was, after all, the point of her book.
But why did she feel it necessary to attack the scientific premise at its base? And where did that antipathy, and its resultant contumely, come from? It wasn't in her previous books.

I was thinking about the difference between wisdom and intelligence. Forrest Gump was not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, but he recalled his mother's advice, and applied it rigorously. That was wisdom.
