Artificial nutrition and hydration (ANH), whether delivered by the mechanism of a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), or another mechanism (such as a nasogastric (NG) tube) is a "life-prolonging procedure" under Florida law, (see F.S. Chapter 765, Section 765.101(10)).
