Could you help with another question, zerelda? You obviously know Florida law. Under the most current law, is a PEG tube defined as artificial life support, or as a medical treatment that can be refused under a right of privacy? Or something else?

It is both. Artificial nutrition and hydration (ANH), whether delivered by the mechanism of a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG), or another mechanism (such as a nasogastric (NG) tube) is a "life-prolonging procedure" under Florida law, (see F.S. Chapter 765, Section 765.101(10)).
