The woman who has accused three Duke University men's lacrosse players of raping her failed to identify at least one of them in a photo array eight days after the reported attack, according to a motion filed Friday by defense attorneys. The motion also says that she then selected him as an attacker more than two weeks later.

Like the link GAgal provided, in the final lineup she fingered 4 men alltogether.
FOUR.
Yes. GAgal hit drove the nail home!
The Investigator doing the lineup kept the AV on track. That is correct. Remember, anything she says incorrectly in the lineup - anything can be used to question her recollection of the night.
Another point in that lineup, the AV says someone was in the BEDROOM - and it's clear that the Investigator steers her back into her story and she changes it to comport with her story AFTER the investigator Prompts her -
It goes something like this:
AV: He was in the bedroom
Investigator: BEDROOM?
AV: Yes.
Investigator: I'm sorry , did say BEDROOM?
Av: I mean the LivingRoom
You know, just a thought :
If somebody had dealt with the AV's prediliction for making false accusations back when she accused three males of trying to rape her; or when she accused her former husband of trying to take her into the woods and kill her--
then she wouldn't have been able to make yet another false accusation against the players.
But since making false accusations apparently carries no penalty at law, she is free to be a "serial accuser".
Good Lord, just when I think this thing can't get any more obviously a setup, it gets more obviously a setup.
Check this link below. Durham man arrested for rape. Tried to run from the cops. Bond set at $150,000. Absolutately unbelievable. The Duke boys turned themselves in and got $400,000. Nifong lied again. He said their bonds were normal.

"Yes, I spoke with a number of the attorneys that were involved in the case the week leading up to the indictment, and none of them were sure. I mean they were all walking around not knowing whether it was going to be their client that was indicted or not. So at least with the three or four people I spoke with, they didnt seem to have a clue of whether it was going to be their guy or not or whether it was going to be someone elses client." - Mark Edwards on the Abrams Report
"My client was not indicted, but I tell you I'm very sorry for these young men that are indicted. They have done absolutely nothing. The two that they indicted had no contact with this woman whatsoever. We are shocked, actually shocked. We always thought she would pick out someone who at least had a conversation with her or paid her." - Defense attorney Bill Thomas.
I believe it's entirely possible she picked someone not at the party because there seems to be no rhyme or reason why she picked anyone. I know people have speculated that she deliberately picked players whose parents have money, but I tend to agree with the pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey theory, she just seemed to be randomly picking players, with a little help from the investigators.
Excellent link-filled blog entry by author, historian, professor Robert KC Johnson:

You're right, GA. Real good blog. Thanks for posting the link.
This stinks, my gosh the cops are the ones that need to be investigated.
More on Gottlieb--
Gottlieb's been a busy boy, huh? Storming the dorms to chase the players. Serving warrants on cab drivers. Doing lineups. All things he's not suppose to be doing.

The there? I did that twice.
Here is the March 24 interview with the AV.

Dancer gives details of ordeal
A woman hired to dance for the Duke lacrosse team describes a night of racial slurs, growing fear and, finally, sexual violence
Samiha Khanna and Anne Blythe, Staff Writers
The woman who says she was raped last week by three members of the Duke University lacrosse team thought she would be dancing for five men at a bachelor party, she said Friday. But when she arrived that night, she found herself surrounded by more than 40.
Just moments after she and another exotic dancer started to perform, she said, men in the house started barking racial slurs. The two women, both black, stopped dancing.
"We started to cry," she said. "We were so scared."
Forty-six members of the men's lacrosse team submitted DNA samples Thursday in the unusual case. As of late Friday, there had been no arrests. Duke officials briefed university staff Friday on the allegations, and authorities vowed to crack the team's wall of solidarity.
"We're asking someone from the lacrosse team to step forward," Durham police Cpl. David Addison said. "We will be relentless in finding out who committed this crime."
He emphasized the seriousness of the accusations -- first-degree rape, kidnapping, assault by strangulation and robbery.
Details of the accusations were made public this week in a warrant authorizing a search of the three-bedroom rental house where the attack is alleged to have taken place.
The accuser spoke Friday, struggling not to cry as she recounted the events of the early hours of March 14 at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd., next to Duke's East Campus.
It is The News & Observer's policy not to identify the victims of sex crimes.
The accuser had worked for an escort company for two months, doing one-on-one dates about three times a week.
"It wasn't the greatest job," she said, her voice trailing off. But with two children, and a full class load at N.C. Central University, it paid well and fit her schedule.
This was the first time she had been hired to dance provocatively for a group, she said. There was no security to protect her, and as the men became aggressive, the two women started to leave. After some of the men apologized for the behavior, the women went back inside, according to police. That's when the woman was pulled into a bathroom and raped and sodomized, police said.
She hesitated to tell police what happened, she said Friday. She realized she had to, for her young daughter and her father.
A hurt that would last
"My father came to see me in the hospital," she said. "I knew if I didn't report it that he would have that hurt forever, knowing that someone hurt his baby and got away with it."
Jason Bissey, who was on his porch next door during the party, saw the victim that night. He said Friday that he wishes he had called police at the first sign something was wrong.
He saw at least 30 men go into the white three-bedroom house, which Duke officials say is rented by three lacrosse team captains.
Bissey saw two women arrive and, after they were in the house 20 minutes, come out. As they got into a car, men shouted, Bissey said.
"Some of them were saying things like, 'I want my money back,' " Bissey said.
He recalled the racially charged statements at least one man was yelling at the victim.
"When I was outside, one guy yelled at her, '... Thank your grandpa for my cotton shirt,' " Bissey said.
After a few minutes, everything seemed to calm down, he said. One of the women headed back into the house, saying she forgot her shoes.

Boy, if there's one phrase in this case (even above all of the accuser's contradictory statements) that the MSM can't get enough of it's that one. This thing has gotten more f'n mileage than Kennedy's "Ich bin ein Berliner!"
Thanks.
Yes, I don't understand how lawyers and Judges and clerks stand around when Nifong & co. claim that was a normal bail.
The MSM was talking about the 46 players and a wall of silence: the question has become is they anyone in Durham Legal system that is going to come forward and speak the truth. Is there anyone that's going to say, I've never seen 3 year misdemeanor warrants served by lead investigators in a Gang-rape when someone has already pled to the crime. I've never seen 3 lineups and DNA come back negative and indictments were brought anyway?
If you look at the News wires today, the News Corpse still has the audacity to run out crap attacking the players or Duke.
Dumb and Dumber at Duke - by Stephen Smith
Dumb is the Duke LAX players, Dumber is the DUKE Women's LAX in supporting them.

NPR Roundtable (don't we pay for this stuff?)
About 4 BLACK writers and Duke professor (African-American Studies). They discuss the sexualization of the Black Female and HipHOp and tie it to Duke. The liberal, black host (female) says at least once - I'd would to get back to DUKE. At one point, the 4 mental midgets (or pretending to be) mention Hip-Hop Lyrics being written in Corporate offices. You see, it's the Man (White Man) in a conspiracy to mess up the black family by feeding these Hip Hop Lyrics out though BET (Black owned) and MTV (liberal owned and operated). They don't dwell on Duke too much despite the hosts attempts.
This NPR Roundtable is very similar to the large number of Media that makes it seem that Black women are sexualized or objectifed specifically. What the hell are they talking about? White women aren't sex objects? Marlyn Monroe? Baywatch? Playboy?
But, we are supposed to play along and act like Black women are the object of every white man's desire and that they are sexualized by Corporate America. What's the guy's name - John Stossel? He needs to take a swipe at this silly Urban Legend. White men overwhelmingly prefer White Women, and these same black feminists were decrying Black Men's preference for White women a few short years ago.

This entire Duke case is guaranteed to come to an unsatisfactory conclusion. Mr. Niphong will definitely bring it to trial, and then commit a major faux pax in the early phases of the trial, the case will be a mistrial and it will give him the coverage to state that the Duke boys got off on a technicality.
Living in south Jersey and reading the Philadelphia Inquirer almost daily, I've had a life-dose of Stephen A. Smith. He should restrict himself to columns pertaining to the trade value of Allen Iverson and the dimensions of Citizen's Bank Park.
He's out of his league when writing social commentary, and it shows.
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, after the Dave Evans press conference, that the fall back position for the racists was going to be exactly what Victoria Peterson was yelling at Joe Cheshire, "These boys are responsible for this mess." Notice she didn't say they were responsible for a rape, because, like Stephen A Smith, she knows a rape didn't occur.
But you didn't really think they were going to blame CGM or Nifong, did you? Nooo, the "out of control" boys are responsible for this mess.
