Nice pics! A couple of comments:

Is that a cross made of I-beams, or just a coincidence?

There's a ghost in one of the pics...;^)

I could be mistaken, because it's hard for me to get my "bearings" in these photos, but I think that the tall, black building in the 5th photo down is the Deutche Bank Building.

That's the building that was just recently slated for demolition (implosion?) because it was deemed to have been too badly damaged (structurally) by the collapse of the towers.

It's also the building on top of which human remains were just recently found...small bones and such.

Great photos. Two weeks ago I was in New York City, and I still miss being there.....didn't want to leave.

It was my first visit. What a great city. We took the 3 hour ferry tour, tremendous views of Manhattan. And of course went right by the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

I loved being out walking with all the people (people everywhere!)..the deli stops, Times Square, Fifth Avenue, etc. Seems the whole city is full of excitement.

Back here we all are in cars...then home. Didn't realize how much a secluded life it is. I miss New York.

(I even checked prices on a small flat--even the efficiencies are priced out of sight in Manhattan.)

You have to like people. ALL types of people. From the bottom to the top of the rung. I love it. Manhattan Island is amazing. Who needs a car? Food everywhere, taxis, subways. It is expensive to live here tho.
