I believe it's more humid there, what with the irrigation in the valley, and all the pools. It was 104 when I got off the plane yesterday...it felt SOOO good!

What I don't understand is the hypocrisy of saying that use of vulgarity is a sign of a limited vocabulary/limited mind, when the very act of shunning the use of such words is in and of itself a self imposed limitation. The self-imposed limitation shows your flexibility and capability of rising above said limitation.

Which is why I've never understood "martyrs." I've accepted them (sainthood and all that) but that doesn't mean I understand the self-imposed punishment.
Who would want to live such a miserable existence? Not me! Life is tough enough without adding self-inflicted misery to it.
