Not compared to some of the stuff we were trying to dream up. A couple of my ideas were nuke driven... One of them tapped directly into sub-space to create a 4-D warp "shockwave" that would literally rip anything in a given volume of space to component atoms. Was thinking we could use it to harvest asteroids, moons, and other large chunks of mass for building materials.

Actually, my sub-space shredder wouldn't make a sound. Just mark off some spatial coordinates, press a button, there'd be a humming noise, and a moon would reduce itself to basic atoms as the shockwave disrupted the molecular/weak-nuclear force.
