Bob: Ever the Optimist...8^)

Seriously, in the past few weeks, I've had people tell me they think I'm at least quite a bit over thirty...

You should pack up your stuff, and go to a college town where you can live in a dorm room (with Internet) for a while during the Summer.

Some nice exotic location like Oscaloosa.

I used to go to coffee houses or diners to do serious writing when I knew I wouldn't do it at home. I used to live within walking distance (less than a mile) from a great independent coffee shop, very bohemian, a nice chain coffee shop, and a wonderful little Italian ice cream shop that made the very best cappichino. Sigh. Those were the days....

Now I don't do much writing in long hand any more. I have promised myself a laptop for my birthday so I can return to that practice...

You should read it.

"I like to study the interplay between world views, technology, and economic and social reactions to events over the course of time."

Yep, you should read it.

It is as pivotal a book as "The Bell Curve."

Um...

I've already paid for one apartment. I can't exactly afford more rent.

I used to be older, too.

The one thing I do dread about going somewhere else to work is having to haul everything with me. LOL!

Well, I suppose I better get back to work. Break time is over. See you tomorrow (maybe).

Good night!

You have a good opportunity to go somewhere, anywhere, now that you are off-schedule.

Ask your Mom to look through her address book, to find someone who has a nice room with an ocean view.

You'll be as quiet as a mouse. Guaranteed.

Winston, on the other hand, I don't know. An ocean view? Could be provocative...

People don't always realize the connections, the chain of events that get wrapped around, transmogrified because someone dies or comes into power...

That sounds like a great idea! J. K. Rowling hits the twenty-first century!

I get incredibly bad writer's cramp from handwriting. But I can type all day.

If every movie has a chase scene, this is the equivalent section of "Guns, Germs, and Steel"

Okay, I'm done playing with it.

You Are 4 Years Old
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.
What Age Do You Act?

Okay, I lied to it ... a little.
